This article will help you integrate with Shopify POS so you can award credits to your shoppers at your physical store along with the online store. 

Shopify POS, designed for merchants seeking to implement a Reward Program for in-person customers, also caters to customers interested in utilizing their rewards both online and at physical stores.


Note: This feature is exclusively available to users on the Established plan who have activated the Loyalty & rewards program.


Alert: We are updating our Shopify POS integration to align with Shopify's latest updates regarding POS UI extensions. As a result, merchants who integrated Shopify POS with Flits before February 28, 2025, will need to re-add the Flits tile to the smart grid once the current version is deprecated.


Steps to initiate POS integration with Loyalty & rewards premium tool


Go to Flits admin > integrations > Locate Shopify POS > Click Activate


How can merchants apply for credit through POS for their customers?

Follow the steps below to apply for credit through the POS

  1. Open your Shopify POS app
    Now at first, we will add Flits Loyalty & reward in the POS to access the available Online reward & store Credits. Kindly follow the below images for more clear reference.


  2.  Add a new tile

  3. Add Flits app

  4. Add Flits POS UI extension
    Add Flits available under the Actions tile After adding Flits to the smart grid, click on the Save button to apply changes.

  5.  Accessing Flits tile
    Now, you can view Flits tile on your POS as displayed in the below image. Using this tile you or staff members can help customers redeem their online store's loyalty and rewards credit on a physical store.
