With the Flits x Shopify POS integration, store staff can seamlessly help customers redeem their store credits or reward credits at physical outlets during checkout. This feature is available only to merchants on the Established Plan.
Follow these steps to apply credits during a purchase:
1. Prepare the Cart
- Ensure the Shopify POS cart is finalized and ready for checkout.
2. Apply credit via Flits x Shopify POS Integration
- From the Smart Grid on your Shopify POS screen, locate the Flits tile and click on it.
- This will open a popup window with the following customer details:
- Basic details (e.g., name, email).
- Available store credits and reward credits.
- To redeem a specific credit:
- Click the Apply button next to the credit type (store credit or reward credit) that the customer wishes to redeem.
- The system will calculate and apply the discount based on the customer's available credits and the cart value.
Note:
- For store credits, no spending rules are applicable. The calculations are purely based on the current cart value.
- For reward credits, the amount that can be redeemed depends on the spending rules configured in the Flits application.
If the customer's credit exceeds the allowed redemption limit for the cart, only the applicable amount will be applied.
4. Complete the Checkout
- Once the discount has been applied, proceed with the remaining payment methods(if applicable) and complete the checkout.
