Introduction

Based on the Store’s currency, points will be calculated in the Loyalty & rewards

In Loyalty & reward points module calculation of points are as follows -

1 reward point = 1 store currency (USD, EUR, GBP).

Example: Earning rule

For better understanding, let us take an example of points on place order rule.

Note: You can set fixed or percentage points for different orders. Here it is important to note that,

- for fixed point type fixed points are issued irrespective of cart value

- for percentage point type points are issued by calculating X% of the cart value

Based on the above screenshot:

i) A customer will get 50 points on 1st order.
ii) A customer will get 15% of points on the total cart amount on the 2nd order.
Eg: If the cart value is $200 then the customer will get 30 points.
iii) A customer will get 50% of points on the total cart amount from order 3 and next (4,5,6…n)

Eg: If the cart value is $500 then customer will get 250 points.

Example: Redeeming rule

Let us have a look at the example of points redeemed

For Percentage points redeemed ranges:

If a merchant sets Cart Range ="$1 to $499”, Spent points = 10% Cart value = $300

For the above case, the customer can spend 10% points based on the cart value i.e. 30 points.

For Fixed Points Spent Ranges:

If a merchant sets Cart Range ="$500 - $999” , Spent Points = 50  Cart value = $800

For the above case, the customer can spend 50 fixed points based on cart value i.e $50
