Introduction

Notify Me settings allow you to control how the back-in-stock notification appears on your storefront and how customers interact with it.

You can preview the experience and apply basic styling changes from the settings page.


How It Works

  • Customers click Notify me on out-of-stock products

  • A popup (modal) appears asking for email

  • Customer submits email to subscribe

  • Modal design and behavior follow your current settings


Setup (Quick Steps)

  1. Go to Shopify Admin → Apps → Flits Wishlist

  2. Open Features

  3. Find Notify when back in stock

  4. Click Set up


What You Can Configure

Preview

  • View how the notification popup appears

  • Reflects current settings and styling

  • Used for visual validation (not interactive testing)

Styling (Optional)

  • Customize modal appearance using Custom CSS

  • Path: Settings → Preferences → Custom CSS

Placement (Theme Control)

  • Control where Notify button appears using theme integration

  • Path: Settings → Add to theme


Feature Behavior

  • Popup appears only for out-of-stock wishlist items

  • Email input is required for subscription

  • Preview updates based on applied styling
