Introduction

Notify Me can be enabled or disabled from your Flits Wishlist admin.
This controls whether customers can subscribe for back-in-stock alerts on out-of-stock products.


How It Works

  • When enabled → Customers see Notify me on out-of-stock products

  • When disabled → Subscription option is hidden

  • Existing subscriptions remain saved and are not deleted


Setup (Quick Steps)

  1. Go to Shopify Admin → Apps → Flits Wishlist

  2. Open Features

  3. Find Notify when back in stock

  4. Click Set up

  5. Enable or disable the Notify me checkbox


Verification

  • Visit your storefront

  • Add an out-of-stock product to wishlist

  • Check if Notify me button appears (enabled) or not (disabled)


Limitations

  • Feature works globally (not per product)

  • Changes may take a few minutes to reflect

  • Requires wishlist + out-of-stock condition


Tips & Best Practices

  • Keep it enabled for high-demand or fast-selling products

  • Disable temporarily if inventory updates are unstable

  • Always test after enabling to ensure visibility
