Overview

This view shows detailed wishlist behavior for individual customers. It helps merchants identify high-intent users, evaluate purchase patterns, and personalize email or SMS campaigns.


1. What Customer Insights Include

For each customer:

  • All wishlisted products

  • Date added

  • Variant preference

  • Items moved to cart

  • Items purchased

  • Wishlist value

  • Total wishlist activity count


2. Why Customer-Level Insights Matter

A. Identifying High-Intent Shoppers

Customers with large or frequently updated wishlists are strong targets for promotions.

B. Personalizing Campaigns

Use insights to power:

  • Klaviyo flows

  • Email reminders

  • Price-drop notifications

C. Predicting Purchase Behavior

Customers often purchase items that:

  • They recently wishlisted

  • They repeat wishlist multiple times

  • Are part of their seasonal favorites


3. Example Scenarios

  • A customer repeatedly adds size “M” variants → restock planning opportunity

  • Customer wishlists 12 items but buys none → opportunity for discount nudge

  • Wishlists multiple items from same collection → opportunity for bundle promotions


4. Troubleshooting Customer Insights Issues

If customer data seems missing:

  • Check if guest session was merged properly

  • Ensure user accepted cookies

  • Confirm the product still exists and is published
