Overview
Flits Wishlist not only tracks what customers save themselves, it also allows merchants to manually add or remove wishlist products for any customer directly from Shopify admin.
This feature is helpful for:
Migrating wishlists from another app
Helping customers during support conversations
Curating personalized lists for VIP customers
Fixing incorrect or duplicate wishlist entries
This article explains how you can view, edit, add, and remove wishlist items from the Engaged Customer profile inside Flits Wishlist.
Where to Access Manual Wishlist Management
Go to:
Shopify Admin → Apps → Flits Wishlist → Engaged Customers → Select a customer
You will see a customer-level dashboard that includes:
Total products in wishlist
Potential sales from wishlist
Wishlist timeline
Option to add or remove products

Customers will see these items in their wishlist next time they visit.
How to Remove Products from a Customer’s Wishlist
Open the customer profile
Select the checkbox beside a product
Click Remove from wishlist
The product is removed instantly and will also reflect in the activity timeline.
Understanding Customer Wishlist Timeline
Every manual or automatic event is logged:
Examples:
“Product added to wishlist (manually added)”
“Customer added product to wishlist”
“Product removed from wishlist”
"Purchasing wishlisted products"
“Product removed from wishlist (manually removed)”
This helps support teams understand the customer’s journey and interactions.
How Manual Wishlist Data Affects Analytics
Manual additions/removals are included in:
Customer-level wishlist count
Wishlist product reports
Potential revenue from wishlist
However:
It does not automatically create a purchase or conversion event.
Klaviyo flows may trigger if configured to react to ‘wishlist_added’ events.
Use Cases for Merchant-Added Wishlist Items
Best Practices
Avoid adding extremely large batches to prevent clutter
Review potential sales after adding items
Update items only when needed; analytics depend on clean data
