The Wishlist Activity Log provides a chronological record of all customer wishlist actions. It is essential for understanding user behavior, performance audits, and troubleshooting.


1. What Events Are Tracked

The log records:

  • Product Added to Wishlist

  • Product Removed from Wishlist

  • Product Moved to Cart

  • Variant Selection (via popup)

  • Guest-to-user merge events


2. Filters Available

You can filter by:

  • Event type

  • Customer

  • Date range

  • Product

  • Guest ID vs Logged-in


3. How Merchants Use Activity Logs

  • Investigate unusual user behavior

  • Understand wishlist abandonment patterns

  • Confirm variant data accuracy


4. Troubleshooting Log Gaps

If events are missing:

  • Ensure wishlist embed is active

  • Check for removed theme containers

  • Confirm customer is not blocking cookies
