Guest Wishlist allows shoppers who are not logged in to save products. This is one of the most powerful features for increasing engagement and capturing early purchase intent. Flits supports three different guest modes depending on your brand’s acquisition or friction strategy.


1. Guest Wishlist Modes

A. Allow Guests to Wishlist Without Login (Recommended)

  • No pop-ups

  • No login barriers

  • Fastest interaction

  • Highest engagement

Best for: fashion, beauty, lifestyle, impulse-buy niches.


B. Prompt Guest to Enter Email

Displays an email capture prompt when guests try to save an item.

Helps collect:

  • Email leads

  • Pre-purchase interest

Best for: brands focused on segmentation and remarketing.


C. Redirect Guest to Login / Signup

Guests must authenticate before saving a wishlist item.

Best for:
 B2B stores, wholesale catalogs, subscription-only platforms.


2. How to Enable or Configure Guest Wishlist

  1. Open Flits Wishlist

  2. Go to General Settings → Guest Wishlist

  3. Select your preferred mode

  4. Save changes


3. How Guest Wishlist Works Internally

Guest actions are tracked using a temporary session ID so you still receive:

  • Wishlist count

  • Product popularity

  • Variant preferences

If users later log in, wishlist items sync to their account.


4. Troubleshooting Guest Wishlist Issues

  • Ensure cookies aren’t blocked by browser

  • Confirm guest mode is enabled

  • Disable other wishlist apps to avoid conflicts
