Introduction
The Fixed Points per Order rule allows customers to earn a specific number of loyalty points for every order, regardless of order value.
This approach makes earning predictable and easy to understand, while giving merchants full control over earning frequency, expiry, and notifications.
Key Features
Fixed Points per Order:
Customers earn a fixed number of points for every order placed.
Example: Earn 50 points for each completed purchase.Earning Limit:
Merchants can set how many times a customer can earn this reward.
If the earning limit is exhausted, it resets 24 hours after the last points were earned.
Example: “1 time per lifetime” ensures each customer earns the reward only once.Reward Expiry:
Define how long earned points stay valid.
Example: Points expire 15 days after being earned.Customer Notifications:
Enable email and/or push notifications so customers know when they’ve earned points.Status & Management:
Activate or deactivate the rule anytime. “Inactive” pauses earning but does not affect past rewards.
