Introduction

Encouraging customers to register rather than check out as guests helps build long-term engagement and retention. Offering sign-up points is a proven way to motivate more visitors to become registered customers.


Steps to Set Up Sign-Up Points

  1. Go to Loyalty Program > Add Ways to Earn.

  2. Select the “Sign Up” earning rule.

  3. Enter the number of points customers earn for registration in the Earning Value field (e.g., 50 points) and add a brief comment (for example, “Sign up points”).

  4. Set the rule Status to Active and click Save.


Notifications

To notify customers when they earn sign-up points, enable email and/or push notifications in the Notifications panel under admin settings.


Managing Sign-Up Rules

  • Merchants can delete or deactivate this rule any time as business needs or marketing strategies change.


Important Notes

  • Points are awarded only after a successful registration is completed.

  • The Sign-Up Points rule must be set to Active; inactive rules will not reward customers.

  • This feature is available for all Flits plan users.
