Steps to Give Birthday Points

  1. Navigate to Premium Tools > Loyalty & Rewards Setup > Earning Rules.

  2. Click Add Ways to Earn and select Birthday from the earning rule options.

  3. Enter the number of birthday points to award and add a helpful comment for your team (e.g., “Birthday points”).

  4. (Optional) Create urgency by setting an expiry (in days) for redeeming birthday points.

  5. Ensure the rule status is set to Active and click Save to apply changes.

  6. Enable mail and push notifications using the checkboxes to alert customers when they earn birthday points.


Important Notes

  • Birthday points are issued once every 365 days based on the birthdate in the customer’s profile.image.jpg

  • Customers must submit their birthdate at least 24 hours before their actual birthday to qualify for that year’s reward.image.jpg

  • Points expire after the period you set (e.g. 1 day), motivating quick redemption.image.jpg

  • The rule can be deleted at any time if it is no longer needed.
