Introduction

This article will cover steps and ways to adjust customers' points balance.


This feature is available for Growth & Established Plan users only.

 

Purpose of Adjust points

Adjust points will enable you to reward customers with extra points, compensate them for any loss, and deduct points if the situation requires. 


Steps to adjust credits (Admin adjust)

To adjust points you need to follow the steps below

  1. Go to Customers from left side navigation in Flits admin

  2. Search the customer for whom you wish to adjust points


  1. Open the customer profile. Now, In the left section of customer profile > adjust points balance. Clicking the adjust credit option opens a popup to make manual points adjustment.

  2. Set up all the required fields to fulfil your adjustment.

  • In adjustment type (Mandatory) 
        - Select credit, If you want to add points
        - Select debit, If you want to deduct points

  • In points adjustment (Mandatory) - Add reward points you wish to adjust.

     If you want to deduct (minus) points, use a negative (-) sign in front of the points value. 

  • In set expiry days (Optional) - add the number of days after which the points will expire. Example, if you add ‘5’ it means the credits will expire after 5 days. If the field is left blank, it will be considered as 0 days and the credits will not have any expiry period.

  • In why would you like to adjust the balance of your customer (Optional) - you have to a reason for adjusting points.

  1. Once all the input fields are filled you, click ‘Apply’ to adjust points.
    Customers' points balance will increase/decrease as per the credit amount you added/deducted.


    The manual adjustments will help you adjust points of individual customers. If you wish to do this for many customers at once, you can use the Bulk credit option from the Customers page.
