As a merchant, it is your primary responsibility to provide adequate information to your clients about their Orders, Discounts, Shipment etc. Serve what is required is the first step to build trust in the e-commerce market.
With Shopify, it is possible to add extra notes to make your shipment more informative or add extra details to your customer's profile using Order Notes or Customer Notes.
We are frequently asked to add such notes within our Customer Account Page.
Here is a small description of How we accomplish it.
Before proceeding further the one thing a merchant has to remember is, to add your existing Shopify notes within Customer Account Page you need to reach us on support@getflits.com with the information of what to include and where?
- Customer Notes can be added in the Profile section of Customer Account Page.
- Order Notes can be added in the Orders section of Customer Account Page.
Note: These notes are in Read-Only format. Notes can't be modified from the Flits Customer Account Page.
In the below image, you can see an order with Notes in it. On your request, we fetch this note and include it to your desired place of the My Orders section of the Customer Account page.

How to add Shopify Notes?
Please note that Shopify notes might be pre-added. Below are the steps on How to add or modify a note manually.
Customer Notes:
Below steps is an example How you can add Customer Notes manually.
Step 1: Open your Shopify store admin. Click on Customers section.
Step 2: Click on any Customer from the list and open the customer profile. You will be able to see a notes section as below image.
Step 3: Add a customer note and Click on the Save button to save the note.
Order Notes:

Below steps is an example How you can add order notes manually.
Step 1: Open your Shopify store admin. Click on Orders section.
Step 2: Click on any Order from the list and open the order details. You will be able to see a notes section on the right side of the order details page.
Step 3: Click on the edit button and add a note to that order.
Step 4: Click on the Save button to save the note.
