Steps to set up Mandrill platform for notification
1. Open Flits app admin.
2. Go to Notifications > Mail notifications settings > Mail domain -set up
3. Select Mandrill
4. Follow image given below to feed the required details for Mandrill settings.
Click on Save after you have entered the details.
Steps to set up your Mandrill account to send email notifications
Mandrill is an email infrastructure service offered as an add-on for Mailchimp that you can use to send personalized, one-to-one e-commerce emails, or automated transactional emails.
To set up Mandrill you need to create a Mailchimp account.
1. Log in to your Mandrill account.
2. Click on the Settings tab from the left side navigation menu.
3. Under the Settings page, click on the Domains tab from the top navigation bar.
4. Click on Set up your sending domain button. Add the domain from which you wish to send emails. Click on Add button.
5. You can view your current added domain in the Domain Details. Verify your Domain by clicking Verify a Domain button on the right side.
6. In the Settings section, click on New API Key button to create API Key.
7. Add a description of your API Key and click on the Create API Key button to generate your API Key. After successful API Key creation, you will be able to see Host, Port, SMTP Username, SMTP Password. Use these credentials to send Mail Notifications via Mandrill.
Note: Account verification is required before sending mail notifications.
