This article will help you integrate with Shopify POS so you can award credits to your shoppers at your physical store along with the online store. 

Shopify POS, designed for merchants seeking to implement a Reward Program for in-person customers, also caters to customers interested in utilizing their rewards both online and at physical stores.


Note: This feature is only for Store credit premium tool users under the Enterprise plan.

Steps to initiate POS integration with Flits store credit premium tool


  1. Go to Flits admin > integrations > Locate Shopify POS > Click Activate


How can merchants apply for credit through POS for their customers?

Follow the steps below to apply for credit through the POS

  1. Open your Shopify POS app.
    Now at first, we will add Flits Store Credit in the POS to access the available Online Store Credits. Kindly follow the below images for more clear reference.

       
     A. Add a new tile

B. Select Flits from apps

C. Select Flits from apps

D. Add Flits available under Actions tile

  1.  After adding Flits to the smart grid, click on the Save button to apply changes. Now, you can view Flits tile on your POS as displayed in the below image. 

  1. Click on the hamburger menu to open Products

Now, select a Product from the list and click on the add to cart tile from the products page to add that product to cart.

  1. After adding a product to cart, add a customer. On the home page select, click on the ‘Add customer’ tile. From this page you can search for an existing customer or can add a new customer. Kindly follow the image below for clarity.
























 

  1. To apply credit click on the Flits-Customer Account Page tile from the home page to apply credit on order.

  2. As displayed in the image below, you can view total credit and credit to be applied on that particular order. Click on the ‘Credits available’ to apply it in the order.

Note: Credits will be applied based on the spent rule set up in the Flits admin >> Settings >> Store Credit Settings >> Spent Rule. If you don't find the gift card button please review the spent rules to check whether the cart range comes under the spent cart range condition or not.

  1. Once you click on the gift card button, you will get a confirmation message of Credit applied to cart. 

  1. You can see applied credit as displayed in the image below. Complete the order to avail credits.
