Introduction


This article will illustrate how to create a custom application for Amazon login.


Steps to create an Amazon private app

  1. Create your Amazon Developer account through this link: https://developer.amazon.com    .


OR

           

Log in if you already have an account.


  1. Click  "Login with Amazon" See the image attached below.



  1. In the next screen, click on Login with the Amazon Console label and Click on the Create a New Security Profile button to create an app.



  1. In the Security Profile Management section, fill in all the required details as below shown image.


  1. Click on the "Save" button to save your profile.



  1.  You can see an updated profile like the below image.



  1. Get your Client ID, Client Secret & Return URL from your profile. 


  1. On clicking settings icon, the security profile will be opened.


  1.  Click on the Web Settings section to get Client ID, Client Secret & Return URL. 


After these steps your Amazon private app will be successfully created.


How to Configure Your App with Flits?


  1. To setup Amazon login to your store, go to Flits app > Premium Tools > Social login > Setup.



  1. In the Amazon Section - Check the box set up the private app and Add App ID (Client ID), and App secret (Client Secret) from your Amazon app, Copy the Redirect URL from Flits Amazon Settings and paste it to Security Profile Management>> Web Settings >> Allowed Return URLs section of your Amazon app.




  1. Click the Activate button to access the Amazon social login to your store.


Click on the "Save" button from the right side top corner. 

After this you can use your Amazon App for Social Login.
