Purpose of monthly credit
Monthly credit will enable merchants to retain dormant customers and reward the returning ones. You can award credits every month at a certain date and nudge to shop at your store to avail those credits. The credit won’t accumulate if it goes unused and will expire after 28 days.
Steps to configure Monthly credit
To set up the Monthly credit, go to Customers > Monthly credits on the top right side of the page.
In the Monthly credit set up panel, fill in all the input fields.
In Credit - add the amount of credits you wish to reward every month
In From date - Add the date on which you wish to give the credit monthly/that month
Click check on Every month - If you wish to give this credit every month.
If you keep Every month unchecked then customers will receive this credit only for that particular month.
In comment - add your desired comment that the customer will see on their customer account page > ‘My credits’ section
Click on ‘Active’, to activate this rule
Click ‘Apply’ to execute this rule
Monthly Credit expiry
The credits awarded under this will automatically expire after 28 days. This helps in avoiding accumulation of credits.
